Enchanted Blades is a single player Hack & Slash game. It takes place in medieval towns/forest areas, where you will face large waves of skeletal warriors. Once you have proven yourself strong enough a reaper boss will face you before you can move on to save the next town. Taking on large enemy numbers can be overwhelming, so to turn the tides of battle there are special powerups for your sword that can be found throughout the levels. These powerups will enchant your blade with elemental abilities, such as fire, ice, lightning and light, enabling you to inflict massive damage. Fight your way through the waves of skeletal warriors and reapers to stop the powerful necromancer Ahriman from destroying the realm with his skeleton army.
There are 4 playable characters – standard male and female barbarian warriors, as well as an archer and an assassin. The 2 standard characters are avaliable immediately, but as the Archer/Assassin characters are more powerful they require unlocking by collecting coins.
There are market/shop areas in each town where powerups and health potions are available for purchase but these market/shop areas will only open after you have saved the town. These powerups and health potions will aid you in your future battles.
There are 2 modes to play through – Arcade and Survival.
Arcade:
This mode begins play in your village. You will fight a wave of enemies and then face the reaper boss. Once the boss is defeated, the market/shop area will open up and you can move on to the next town. The next area will be a simple get from point A (the previous town saved) to point B (the next town to be saved) in either forest locations, open fields or mountain passes where there will be random enemies to take on. Once point B is reached, you then enter the town to fight again, destroying waves of enemies until a new reaper boss appears for battle. You work your way through, saving towns until the graveyeard is reached where the Necromancer Ahriman awaits you for the final battle.
Survival:
Survival mode allows you to fight endless waves of skeletal enemies and reaper bosses to achieve the highest score possible. Survival mode levels are locked until they are completed in Arcade mode.

An RPG Adventure mode will be available in future, adding a story and cinematics to the gameplay and extra missions to complete for the NPC villagers.
Development:
I am the sole developer of Enchanted Blades. It is in Pre-Alpha currently, with most of the gameplay elements in place. It will be in Alpha within the next 1-2 months as the levels are created. At the current rate of development a releasable Beta version will be available sometime in late March 2017
